CLARA

What you get

Four scores, and what is behind each one

  • Noise

The 24-hour noise level and the night level outside the building, each set against the World Health Organization's guideline, and the share of road, rail and aircraft in what you hear.

  • Temperature

The daytime hours that are comfortable outside in each season, the days when it feels hotter than 32 °C or colder than 0 °C, and the nights that stay above 20 °C.

  • Air quality

How many hours of the year the air is clean, and how many it is poor or worse. NO2, PM2.5, PM10 and ozone are each set against the WHO guideline.

  • Wind

The share of the year when the street is calm, windy or worse. The usual breeze at street level, the windiest hour and the strongest gust.

  • One A4 page per address
  • A PDF you keep, and a web version for 30 days
  • Scores out of 10, compared with your municipality
  • Four maps of the streets around the address, one per score
  • The 8,760 hours of a full year, modelled at 1 m resolution
  • English, French and Dutch: one purchase opens all three

Methodology

How CLARA knows

  1. 01

    Digital twin

A 3D model of every building and street in Brussels, fed with continuous measurements from Earth-observation satellites and ground sensors.

  2. 02

    Urban physics

A CFD and AI simulator computes wind flow, pollutant dispersion, heat and noise around each building at 1 m resolution.

  3. 03

    A full year, this address

All 8,760 hours of a full year are reconstructed on the 1 m grid and sampled around the property, then condensed into four scores from 0 to 10.

Questions

Good to know

Which addresses can I order for?

Any address in the Brussels-Capital Region, the 19 municipalities. The search only proposes addresses we cover. Other cities will follow.

How long does it take?

Typically less than a minute. The report goes to the e-mail address you give at checkout, with the payment receipt.

In which language is the report?

You order in English, French or Dutch. One purchase opens the report in all three, and the e-mail links to each of them.

Can I keep it and share it?

The PDF is yours to keep and to pass on. The web link stays open for 30 days on any device.

Is it an energy certificate (EPB)?

No. The report is about the environment outside the building: noise, heat, air and wind. It says nothing about insulation, heating or energy use.

What if I am not satisfied?

Write to support@clara.city within 14 days of the purchase and we refund the full amount.

Who makes CLARA?

CLARA is built by BuildWind SRL, an engineering company in Brussels. The same data serves cities, researchers and real-estate portals through the CLARA API. If you run a portal or an agency and want the report on your own pages, write to info@clara.city.
